Chief Technical Officer, Research & Development (hardware), and fieldworker; also event manager & policy planner

Ivan is a graduate mechanical engineer, which makes him one of the lead technicians of GBNL staff, and his very personality is also inextricably linked to mechanics, construction, and process analysis. He is not afraid to roll up his sleeves, and is more the calculating kind than one to act on an ad-hoc basis. Ivan is also particularly interested in philosophy, quantum mechanics, and the human psyche.

Ever since he can remember, Matejczyk has been fascinated by mythology, and his earliest drawings are characterised by the presence of ghosts, monsters, and spacecrafts; obviously, strongly enticed by the supernatural and metaphysical world since childhood.

Quite soon after GHOSTBUSTERS NL was founded, Ivan applied for a position at our company. Although he does not hold a university degree, his technical down-to-earth and pragmatic approach are highly regarded by his fellow busters. The latter also makes him extremely suitable as GBNL project manager.
